I oktober 2019 postade vi om bluffmail som såg ut att komma från Cpanel.
Tyvärr har spammare börjat skicka ut samma sorts mail igen och flera kunder har kontaktat oss om detta.
Klicka inte på något i mailen och öppna ingen fil. Det är inte skickat från oss, Cpanel eller servern.
Mailen är skickade från andra servrar med falsk avsändare, och de skickas ut till tusentals epostadresser runt om i världen – även till de om inte använder Cpanel.
Nedan är exempel på texten som mailen innehåller:
Från: cPanel Skickat: den 22 januari 2020 12:57 Till: epostadressen@xxxxxxxx.se Ämne: Suspension : Removal of xxxxxxxx.se from our server Website De-activation : "xxxxxxxx.se". De-activation Programmed Final Notice for Domain : xxxxxxxx.se Removal of xxxxxxxx.se from our server has been approved and initiated, Due to ignorance of last verification warning. Removal will occur exactly at our server programmed time and hour We recommend that you find the attachment file that is attached to this email and Cancel Removal for your Domain : xxxxxxxx.se Copyright© 2020 cPanel, Inc.
